Tell us about your career:
I have been a Regional Property Manager for over five months with Greystar. Prior to this, I was an onsite Community Manager with Greystar for 5 1/2 years, with additional experience prior to Greystar. I started as a Leasing Professional, working my way up to Assistant Manager, and eventually Manager in Baltimore. Upon relocation to North Carolina, I did step away from the industry briefly, only to find myself missing the daily excitement of property management! I quickly joined Greystar as a Community Manger in 2018. My overall site experience includes Garden Style, Mid Rise, Single Family, Townhome, Multi-Site, Lease Up, Renovation, and Value Add assets.
As a Regional Property Manager, I have been able to take my previous experience and identify client needs and direction without hesitation!
What advice do you have for someone just starting in your field:
You will experience many different scenarios daily onsite. Use each one as a tool to build your resume. Take the tougher sites and learn, absorb, and use the information to make you a stronger team member. Even on your tough days, remember how many good ones there are!!!!
